Housing report for spouse visa
We conduct housing inspection reports for UK entry clearance applications. Under the family immigration routes, applicants must show that their accommodation is 'adequate'. This means the proposed accommodation must be safe without any public health contraventions and will not become statutorily overcrowded with the additional occupant.
We frequently perform housing inspections for spouse visa and further leave to remain extensions. The accommodation certificate provided demonstrates your property meets the adequate housing standards stipulated by UKVI (United Kingdom Visa and Immigration).
Property inspection reports may also be referred to as:
- Accommodation Certificate
- UKVI Property Inspection
- Housing Survey
- Immigration Housing Report
- Immigration Housing Survey Report
The accommodation certificate is drafted by surveying the house and assessing the below criteria:
The number of rooms and occupants of the proposed accommodation.
Ensure the property is safe, in a good state of repair and doesn't pose a health and safety risk.
Checks whether the property would become overcrowded if more people move in.
Following the housing survey, we will provide a property inspection report which is valid for 12 weeks.
