Independent property inspection report

Scientific Services Group LTD is an established environmental consultancy that provides independent property inspection reports for immigration purposes. We pride ourselves on being one of the largest providers of immigration housing reports in the region.

What is a property inspection report?

The property inspection report for UK immigration is required for certain types of immigration applications. This is the only document that proves to the entry clearance officer at the Home office an independent assessment has taken place and the accommodation is considered adequate. Our reports are frequently used for the following types of applications:

- Spouse visa

- Visitor visa

- Further Leave to Remain (FLRM) 

We are staffed by a fully qualified surveyor who holds a Masters in Environmental Health and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. As we have suitably qualified surveyors our reports are accepted by the Home Office.

ACCOMMODATION INSPECTION SERVICES

We offer both physical on-site property inspections and online property inspection reports. Please see the price list for on-site inspections or contact us with your postcode for an accurate price. Both types of accommodation inspection reports are accepted by the Home Office.

HOW TO BOOK

Follow the steps below to get your property inspection report booked.

1.

Fill in the contact form and we will give you a callback or email you with a price after consultation. 

2.

Provisional booking slots for on-site inspections will be held for 24 hours only. The booking  has a confirmed status once the booking form is completed.

3.

We accept bank transfer and online payment. Cash payment is subject to status and   depending on the area, please enquire before making the booking.

4.

Both the virtual property inspection & on-site inspection can be booked by completing the  booking form which also processes the payment.

5.

Click on the booking form and complete your booking.

ACCOMMODATION STANDARDS FOR UK IMMIGRATION

The property must meet the following standards:

 

  • The property is safe, in a good state of repair and does not contravene public health regulations. We assess the property using the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) under the Housing Act 2004 to determine if there are any Category 1 or 2 hazards present.

  • The property does not share a bathroom or kitchen with another household - unless they are from the same family as the person(s) coming to the UK.

  • The property is owned or occupied exclusively by the sponsor/sponsor's family (the property is not suitable if it is shared with members of another family).

  •  A current gas safety certificate from the landlord (only for rented accommodation).

  • The property has sufficient space and will not become statutorily overcrowded  under the Housing Act 1985. We consider the rooms and occupants when determining if statutory overcrowding is present or will occur with the addition of the proposed occupant (s).

  • Valid EPC (Energy Performance Certificate), minimum rating E (only for rented accommodation).
