WHAT IS A PROPERTY INSPECTION REPORT?

The property inspection report for immigration also known as an accommodation certificate is required for certain types of entry clearance applications. This is the only document that proves to the Entry Clearance Officer an independent assessment of the accommodation has taken place and the property is suitable for habitation.

The property must be safe, in a good state of repair and will not become overcrowded with the arrival of the applicant (s). In determining statutory overcrowding, the number of rooms, their size and the occupants are assessed.

The immigration property inspection report can be used to support the following types of applications:

- Spouse visa

- Fiance visa

- Visitor visa

- Child dependent visa

- Further leave to remain applications
